About this escape room
Welcome to ancient Athens! The country was terrorized and decimated by a terrifying Minotaur. The King of Athens has promised great wealth and honour to the hero who defeated the Minotaur and freed the country from its terror. This search will not be an easy task, however, as the cave is also guarded by four fearsome creatures: a griffin, a hydra, a cyclops and the menacing Medusa. x000D_You set out on a quest and find some locals who will lead you to the entrance, but they have made it clear that they will not go further. Will you be victorious on your quest or will the Minotaur's cave be too much for you?

We tried the cave of the Minotaur room and could not quite make it out. There were some VERY challenging logic puzzles! I have done 6 escape rooms in different cities, and this was probably the most difficult one. The room is straightforward, so each puzzle must be solved to get to the next one, and often it involved combining a series of clues from the room. The effects were fantastic! I would say, don't hesitate too long to ask for a clue! Will definitely go back and try the hip hangover!

Book "Lair of the Minitaur" for a family birthday party We had age groups from 12 to 55 years and everyone enjoyed it! The puzzles were a challenge and we needed some tips. They gave us hints without giving the answer, so that was great! Megan was super nice and funny and we will definitely come back and try it in another room. The staff is professional, young and very nice. It is also not very expensive, so I would highly recommend the whole experience. All six of us left happily!

All four of us adults were in the closed room for the first time and experienced the "Cave of the Minotaur". The room was very well lit and not scary. It took a while to find some of the clues to solve the riddles and to open the locks. After about 35 minutes we were stuck and had to use a lifeline! Staff came in and helped us to find the next clue. _x000D_ _x000D_ We cheered when we were rewarded for opening doors and solving more interesting and challenging things. It was a lot of fun and the hour went by way too fast! We will come back to try one of the other rooms next time!
