Please do NOT waste your time or money! _x000D_ _x000D_ Overall idea:_x000D_ _x000D_ One of the poorer escape games/escape from the rooms out there. Just the quality of the space requirement (the antidote) was very bad. Overall, this place seems like an attempt to make quick money, as they are far above the average price for an escape game, which offers a very below average experience. I used a Groupon for my first experience, and to be honest, it still wasn't worth it. In fact, because of the difficulties, inconsistencies and the treatment by the manager (see below), we were reimbursed by both the Groupon and wagjag._x000D_. _x000D_ Costs:_x000D_ _x000D_ $30 - Compared to other escape facilities, this is much more expensive (up to twice as much) than other facilities outside of Toronto that offer much more sophisticated, engaging experiences._x000D_ _x000D_ Setup:_x000D_ _x000D_ This seemed like a puny place where owners/managers try to invest as little money as possible while charging ridiculous amounts (see above). The building was quite run-down, and the room was not easy to find at all (it is on the second floor of a run-down commercial building). Upon arrival, the people leaving the escape games actually got stuck in the elevator while we were waiting for it, and we had to break open the doors to get them out (I'm sure the escape was more exciting than the one in the game)._x000D_ _x000D_ Games:_x000D_ _x000D_ This place offers three games, each of which has an exciting description on its website. The game we finally decided to play was the antidote (your most difficult room, it seems), which was nothing more than a bunch of keys and boxes and which you could have easily made yourself. In the end, we broke the record in that room (a room for which they set a time limit of 45 minutes and a success rate of less than 30% - I don't remember the exact figure). _x000D_ Personnel:_x000D_ _x000D_ When we made the antidote, they were warm and easy to talk to. But this changed later. Before we participated in the completion of the antidote for the first time, my wife and I went to a group and (ironically) received a jelly from her sister. When we (I, my gf, her sister, and bf) tried to book the two remaining games (graveyard shift and airport explosion), they declined and specified a minimum of 5 players for the graveyard. They did not provide this information on their website, which has since been updated (I printed the website before they added the player numbers). This was mistakenly refuted by the manager (a lady), who was much less accommodating and in fact became rude and condescending on the phone.

Thank you Xtreme Escape for a wonderful night! Great reception staff, great tips and yes, we did Escape the Antidote. However, we did not make it to the airport. Will return to the cemetery. _x000D_ _x000D_ Thank you for accommodating us on very short notice.

I was visiting a couple of days ago with a friend and some teenage boys. We arrived 10 minutes before our game, as we were recommended to do, as we had printed out their directions before leaving. The staff was extremely polite and attentive to our special needs. We were very close to the end of the cemetery and had no more time. Nevertheless the boys had a great time. We wanted to make another room afterwards, but they were fully booked. We will return soon to try their other escapes.

We had a good time, I would recommend a group of four... the room is not that big, not enough space or things that have to do with a bigger group, I think... we will at least for the graveyard shift.

We just finished the graveyard shift. This was a mid-level room, so we hoped nothing was overly challenging. I have to say that there was a good sequence of puzzles that were both logical and compelling. We drove separately, so it was great that there were so many free parking spaces. I must say that the staff was very pleasant to be treated from the beginning of my reservation.
